A.   The Vision

The primary purpose of this Ministry is, to teach the un-compromised Word of the Living God, and to proclaim the "Good News" of Jesus. The Christ-The Anointed One and His Anointing.

My aim remains the same, that is, to be "an effective minister of Christ", by precept, by example, by teaching the Body of Christ Jesus to walk in victory, overcoming life's challenges, and by adopting a lifestyle that is above and beyond reproach.

On July 1, 1983, the LORD gave me a vision of born-again, Spirit filled believers that would be governed solely by the principles and the doctrines of Christ and the Laws of the Kingdom of GOD recorded in the Holy Bible, GOD's Word. Yes, a church-based ministry for world evangelism. This church would accept and enjoy the inheritance, privileges and promises of the saints that GOD has for her through the LORD, Jesus Christ.

All of us working in symphonic union together play important roles in addressing the dynamic challenges of this growing Ministry, while meeting the spiritual need of the "sheep" who GOD sends here and the operational demands of the Ministry.

In establishing Christ Community Christian Center, and in obedience to our LORD, Christ Jesus, we are determined to make "Excellence, Empowerment, Enthusiasm, and Excitement in Ministry" our whole intent and objective in submission to GOD our Heavenly Father.

We shall, therefore, endeavor to maintain the integrity of ths Ministry with GOD's universal biblical principals and laws and to remain legally right, morally sound, ethically blameless and transparent to the world. These principles will be seen through our Biblical teaching, Christian schools, and outreach ministries.

Let us strive to manifest the same kind of grace, mercy, peace, faith, long-suffering love, prayer, moderation, self-control, and motivation for service which are displayed by our Great Example-Setter, Jesus, the Christ, The LORD, GOD of heaven and earth.

B.            Tenets of Faith

What we believe and preach!

1.    The Bible is the inspired and infallible

Word of GOD.

2.    There is one GOD, eternally existent in three

persons: GOD-the Father, GOD-the Son, GOD-the Holy Spirit

3.    The deity of our LORD, Jesus, The Christ,

His virgin birth, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and the blessed hop of His personal visible return to this earth to receive to Himself His blood bought Church that it may be with Him forever.

4.    The only means of being cleansed from sin

is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.

5.    Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is

absolutely essential for personal salvation of the soul.

6.    The redemptive work of Christ on the cross

provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.

7.    The baptism with the Holy Spirit, according

to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.

8.    It is by the sanctifying power of the Holy

Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Holy life.

9.    The resurrection of both, the saved and

the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.

C.  History/Background

Christ Community Christian Center was Chartered July 1, 1983 under the name Christ Community Ministries, Inc. We, Pastor and Mrs. Laidler, held our first public worship service in our living room on Sunday November 24, 1983 with 7 people in attendance (5 adults, 2 infants).

We met in our home 16 months and we moved to the Brunnel site and jointly shared the uses of these facilities with the then Lakeside Church of the Nazarene on Sunday April 7, 1985. With $5,000 in earnest money and a promised $50,000.00 to be paid by the time their church was built, we purchased our auditorium, fellowship hall, day care building and parking lot for $261,000.00 on November 30, 1987. Since that time, we have purchased 16.29 acres on the new SW corner of Wabash Ave and 10th St in Lakeland and the present office building.

CCCC is governed by a self-perpetuating Board of Directors, called "Elders" (not members) who are responsible for the replacement and election of new members to the Board. The Church membership has no vote on the day-to-day affairs of this Ministry. The Corporate Officers are the Pastor (President/Chairman), an Executive Vice-President, a Vice-President, a Secretary, a Treasurer, 4 to 12 Elders (elected to serve as Directors of the Corporation), and a minimum of 3 Deacons appointed by the Pastor. The Board meets once each month and calls an annual "Meeting of Members" at which time the reports of all officers are presented and the new board is elected.

CCCC is a Ministry dedicated to excellence and is a: (1) Non-Denominational, (2) Non-Sectarian (dissenting, schismatic, divisive body of believers), (3) Non-Racial, (4) Pentecostal, (5) Word of Faith, (6) Local, (7) New Testament Church.

CCCC (1) Endeavors to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond peace (Eph. 4:1-3), (2) Equip the saints for the work of the ministry service (vv. 11-16), (3) Feed the sheep and feed the lambs (John 21:15-23); and (4) Evangelize the world with the Gospel of Jesus who is the Christ (Matt 28:19-20).

I was born October 17, 1948 in Lakeland and received a High School Diploma from Rochelle High School, and Associate of Arts from Polk Community College, 1970 (Winter Haven, FL), a Bachelor of Arts from University of South Florida, 1973 (Tampa), and a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary-1980 (So. Hamilton/Boston, MA).

My wife Carrie was born in Greensboro, NC June 7, 1952. Carrie received her high school Diploma from James A. Dudley High School, 1970 and a Bachelors of Arts in Music Education from Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC in 1974.

We believe that with faith in God all things are possible. I hope this helps you understand us better as God reveals his the vision He has placed in my heart for the direction of this ministry.
