Summer Reading

As many of you vacation and read in the Summer- Here's a few books I have read this year that are worth picking up, that have a Christian premise.

-"11" by Len Sweet  - 11 Essential Christian relationships, biblically based with examples, to a healthy, christian, and happy life.
-"Weird" by Craig Groeschel -Great Book biblically based on how if you want to follow Jesus you need to act strangely by our cultural standards
-"Simple Church" by Thom Rainer -Keep the churches ministries to five or so, and stop doing frantic million ministry church.  Applies to our lives too.
-"Three Big Questions for a Frantic Family" by Patrick Lencioni -Lencioni shares fact based books by using a fictional fable... quick, fun reads.
-"Heaven is for Real" by Todd Burpo -Great true story about a pastor and his child's journey to heaven and back
-"The Search to belong" by Joe Meyers- Organic Community Discussion, about how churches do small groups- Dry read but great information.

Nice list. If I ever get through reading 90 minutes of heaven, I'll have to look into some of these.
